Kitchen renovation – long & lean

Making the most of this large space, the design for this kitchen needed to fulfill a number of goals. First was to interact well with the adjoining family room, second was to provide plenty of storage space, and third was to ensure easy access to the most-often used items in the kitchen. All these goals, and many more, have been met with this well-laid-out space. The kitchen is oriented to face the family room allowing for easy supervision and conversation, plenty of cabinets with clever internal organisation takes care of storage and careful planning has seen items such as the refrigerator, which are accessed regularly, placed where they can be easily accessed.
