Kitchen renovation – white gloss
Kitchen Update’s Senior Designer Allan Aitken was given the brief of turning a dark and enclosed kitchen into an open plan kitchen/living/dining area, by removing two walls between the old kitchen and dining room, and turning the old laundry into a butler’s pantry which was still to incorporate a new clothes washer and dryer, he was able to achieve the client’s wishes.
The native Eucalypt species of spotted gum was incorporated into the open display unit to match the new timber floor used throughout the kitchen/laundry/meal’s/living room.
The toughened glass splashback is painted in a colour called “blood pearl”, as it has a pearlescent element added to the paint.
